Mr Tim Coysten

Tim Coysten D.O. Osteopath

Mr Coysten graduated from The European School of Osteopathy (E.S.O.) in 1993. On graduating he started working in private practice and was also invited to join the faculty at The E.S.O.

Since graduating he has continued to work in private practice and for over twenty years taught and examined Osteopathy at an undergraduate and postgraduate level both in the U.K and internationally. Whilst he still teaches postgraduate seminars he has currently chosen to focus on private practice.

Mr Coysten uses traditional and Cranial Osteopathic techniques to gently restore normal body alignment and therefore optimise body function.

Through a thorough case history and examination, Mr Coysten will make a diagnosis and formulate an individually tailored treatment plan to target the cause of your problem.

Due to his extensive experience and understanding of physiology and biomechanics, Mr Coysten is able to understand and diagnose the underlying cause of your symptoms.

By targeting this cause and optimising body function, Mr Coysten is able to promote your body’s own healing processes. This ensures that not only the symptoms but the cause of your symptoms is being treated. In this way many of the problems that patients typically experience are improved and often resolved.

Mr Coysten treats patients of all ages, from the newborn to the eldest members of the family. He also treats animals including dogs and horses.

Mr Coysten has extensive experience of treating top flight sports professionals, helping to optimise their performance and minimise the effects of any injuries sustained.

Mr Coysten joined us in 2016 and is a valued and respected member of the team.
