Professor Tony Wright

Tony Wright specialises in the diagnosis and management of Hearing and Balance disorders, Tinnitus and diseases of the ear including infections, glue ear, perforations, cholesteatoma and otosclerosis. He sees all age ranges – children and adults – and also undertakes general ENT surgery.

He was an ENT consultant at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital until recently and was Dean of the Institute of Laryngology and Otology and then the Ear Institute at UCL for fifteen years.

His research interests were mainly into the ultrastructure and function of the human inner ear and the effects of various drugs. He raised £14m in research funds and published widely.

Tony Wright also has a law degree and undertakes medico legal work for Claimants or Defendants.
